Andrea Merilise Obas Heriveaux, age 65, of Bridgeport, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 3, 2013. She has been a school teacher for about 20 years, homemaker and a servant of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at the side of her husband the late pastor Andronique Hériveaux. She has been a prayer warrior, an ambassador for Christ and was admired by whoever she came in contact with no matter their faith. She was very active in prayer ministry and preaching. She had a passion for children evangelism.
Survivors include her children, Ariel S. Heriveaux and his wife Euvrena, Débora A. Beaubrun and her husband Anac Beaubrun and Adolphe M. Heriveaux and his wife Guerline, she leaves behind her grandchildren Andel Euschben and Sebastian Boaz Heriveaux; Descartesharrhe Andras and Andrew Manoach Beaubrun, her brothers Fritz Joseph Obas and his wife Guilene; Hucien Bien-aime and family, nephews and nieces: Yoan Freguie, Karla Marly Obas and her husband Ewhyn and family, Vicky Joyce, Joses Philippe, Edisson, Chantal, Gary and Ronel Obas, cousins Franck and Yamilee Desir, Claudette Destin, Marc Desir and Maryse Olibrice, Yvonne Norceide and her husband Hermann, Jean Francoeur; Lamartiniere and Saintania Obas, Rose and Arnold Jean and family.
second cousins, Herve, Chesnel, Carel, Narces, Mannelle and their spouses, Wesnie Norceide; Franz Mary Francoeur; France Nathalie, Franck Jr, Ricardo, Carenine Francesse Désir; Kevin, Debra et Lovel Desir as well as members of the Hériveaux, Samson, Beaubrun, Prophete, Lilite and Profete families and friends that Andrea leaves behind.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 9am DIRECTLY at the Silliman Memorial Baptist Church, 1728 Fairfield Ave., Bridgeport with burial to follow in Mt. Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Family and friends may call on Friday at the Church from 4-8pm with the prayer service to be held at 6:30pm. The Lesko & Polke Funeral Home is in care of arrangements.
